This 1960's jewelry trunk was plain, dark walnut with no pizazz.  It was primed and painted black and white stripes,  then decoupaged with floral overlays and sealed.  Rhinestone sparkle was added for extra panache.  This chest holds many special memories, and now has been given new life with an updated look.
