About Me.... 

I've always had a passion for taking old or worn, vintage items and refurbishing them into something fabulous - something that can be re-purposed and re-discovered while keeping the memory of that piece alive.  This passion grew with acquiring precious family heirlooms and special mementos from childhood that held special memories. I was fortunate to have grown up with two very creative and gifted parents. My Dad was a woodworker, clockmaker, painter, wallpaperer, gardener, handyman who could make, custom build, or fix just about anything. My Mom was a gifted seamstress, who enjoyed painting, ceramics and porcelain, stained glass, decoupage, knitting, needlepoint, floral arranging, crafting and decorating.
I inherited much of their talent, and this fueled my inspiration to make everything around me more beautiful. And, so, my own creative business was  born! I refurbished pieces like Dad's old wooden treasure chest, Mom's sterling silver baby cup and my baby shoes! (See 'Fabulous Befores and Afters!) In doing so, I realized that most of us have treasured pieces, stored away, just waiting to be made into beautiful pieces that can be seen and appreciated every day - and even passed down to the next generation.  And thus, my inspiration! I can take just about anything you have and create something beautiful that heals the heart and comforts the soul every time you look at it.
